
Lesley Ryan
Lesley Ryan has lived in the Northern Rivers for 22 years. She studied at, Wollongong University, East Sydney Technical College, The London School of Art, Seaforth Technical College and in Tokyo Japan. She has been teaching private students for 18 years and is a tutor at the Ballina Art Society. She has exhibited overseas and is represented in collections throughout Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Her work is held in private and public collections.
Her current work is heavily influenced by her love of Japanese woodblocks, the simplicity of line, and the reduction of landscape to its basic form.
